Spaghetti and Meatballs
Old Spaghetti and Meatball Recipe (6 Servings)

This is an old Spaghetti Recipe which includes the Meatballs. Makes 6 servings.
Sauce
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil or Canola
- 2 1/2 cups of Canned Tomatoes (Diced)
- 2 (6 oz) cans of Tomato Paste
- 2 cups of Water
- 1 Tablespoon of Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Pepper (Want more heat add more)
- 1 Bay Leaf
Directions
Cook onion in oil till golden brown, add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, pepper and Bay leaf. Cook Slowly for 1 hour.
Meatballs
- 3/4 lb of Ground Beef
- 1/2 lb of Ground Pork
- 1 cup of Bread Crumbs (Fine)
- 1/2 cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 sprig of Parsley, Chopped
- 1 clove of Garlic, Chopped
- 1/2 cup of Milk
- 2 Eggs (Well Beaten)
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Spaghetti, 1 portion per person.
Directions
Combine meats, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, garlic, milk, eggs and seasoning and mix thoroughly. Form into small balls and brown in oil (canola or olive). Ounce there all cooked add them to the sauce and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. In a large pot, boil water and add your dried spaghetti noodles and cook until tender or white vein in noodles is gone.
► How to Measure Spaghetti or Pasta portions - one Portion should be about 2 ounces or the Diameter of a Quarter. If you want more just add more. You can also use your thumb and forefinger as measuring stick.
► You could also add mushrooms if you want. They need to be fried in butter before adding to sauce.
