Diet Supplements to Increase Fat Burning

Everyone who exercises wants to burn fat. The million-dollar question is what is the best way to do it? Here is one way to burn fat: You run. You run often and you run fast.  It’s effective, but it takes a lot of work and dedication.

Green Coffee Extract

Green Coffee extract is derived, as you might expect, from unroasted coffee beans. Unroasted beans contain chlorogenic acid-a critical component for fat loss. Chlorogenic acid works in concert with caffeine found in coffee beans to burn fat that caffeine frees from the fat cells. Several studies have confirmed that supplementing with green coffee extract can lead to significant fat loss.

Green Tea Extract

Much has been about the health benefits of green tea extract. It is sort of a super-supplement that is effective for fat burning along with a host of other benefits. Green tea contains catechins which inhibit an enzyme that breaks down norepinephrine. Norepinephrine is a hormone related to adrenaline that speeds up calorie and fat burning in the body. 

Raspberry Ketones

Raspberry Ketones are compounds naturally occurring in red raspberries. They work in a similar manner as capsaicin to burn body fat. Raspberry ketones may also activate hormone-sensitive lipase, causing fat in fat cells to break down and be released into the bloodstream where it is burned as fuel.


Glucomannan is a water-soluble dietary fiber derived from the konjac root. It expands to many times its original volume when mixed with water. This expansion significantly curbs hunger by filling the stomach and giving the feeling of fullness. 

It also delays stomach emptying, slowing digestion and the absorption of carbohydrates. This stabilizes blood glucose levels and prevents insulin spikes, thereby inhibiting fat storage.
